World Series Socks

Can you believe it? I am actually posting a finished object!! I began these socks during Speedy B's World Series. I needed a plain vanilla sock to work on. I knew the games would be too exciting for a pattern or for anything that would require concentration.

I used OnLine Supersocke 100 in the Summer colorway. I love the feel of the yarn, it is cool being made of cotton, wool and nylon. Knitting with it was another story, it did not split or unravel. My complaint is with the ball itself. It pulled out of the middle in a tangle more than once. Then when I got to the toe of the second sock, there was a knot...ugh!

Off to work on my Loopy Ewe Summer sock club sock while I am on a knitting roll. I promised myself I could not begin the fall sock until the summer pair was complete. So hard!

LOVE these! And I do know what you mean about yarn disappointment. I had some Lorna's Laces do the yarn barf to me (where Dawn became famous at Starbucks for winding for me!) and I haven't been able to do the 2nd sock for fear of a repeat event.

In the end though, your socks are great and that's what matters!

Yeah! Those look very nice.
I hate knots almost more than anything in yarn. They feel like a curse!
