Monthly Dishcloth KAL Day #4

After completing 41 rows, the pattern is obvious. This has been fun! Each morning I receive an email with a certain amount of rows to complete. The first picture shows the pattern better.

But for you to see the pretty color of the yarn, I had to do two shots. For some reason the flash and the color of the yarn were not working out!

Those look great!! I've just started to learn to knit and I really enjoy it. I just haven't learned to cast off yet. My dishcloth might turn into a towel soon! LOL!

That's a neat looking dishcloth. I really like looking at everyone's dishcloths but I must admit that I don't understand the fascination. Do you actually use these for washing dishes or do they serve some other function? I don't care for knitting with cotton but if I only had to knit a few rows a day I could probably manage. I just need someone to give me a good reason why I'd knit a dishcloth.

Beth needs a reason for knitting a dishcloth. Well, Beth, once you have completed a dishcloth and tried it at your kitchen sink, you WILL have your reason. There is nothing quite like them and they machine wash and dry. Pick colors for your bathroom as they also make great washcloths. My Mom would only use my handknit washcloths in her bath. Knit one and give it a try.
